Id have to agree with my yellow friend. The way I see it, at least from my perspective, is this.

Whats the deal with todays consoles? We basically have the Gamecube, Xbox, and PS2. Why do people play these consoles?

Gamecube has always had quick load times, Nintendo characters, loads of fun party games to play, and appeals to many non gamers.

PS2 has those killer titles from racing to RPG, and undoubtably has the largest library for todays generation of consoles.

Xbox has, well it um, it has the best graphics which means if a game comes out multiplatform this is the best bet, xbox live, and halo

Seeing as the Xbox360 is the first one on the track this time around guess what happens to your xbox library? Yeah take out all those multiplatforms and what are you left with? Well when I sold back everything I was left with Halo 2 and thats about it. I own all three systems and if this time around I do end up owning all 3 (highly unlikely as I do love my pc) I would sure as hell not get a multiplatformer on Xbox360. What am I left with? Halo3... When that day comes MAAYBE I will get an xbox360, but it would have to wow the sh*t out of me. Im also going out on a limb and saying xbox 360 doesnt pump out halo3 in time for the PS3. That just sounds like a load of fan boy crap.

Dont get me wrong I enjoyed all my consoles, but this time around I see changes coming...

Now here is the 360's controller. The X-boxes 'S' type controller was rated the best controller made for gamming (even though Microsoft ripped it off of the Dreamcast...) this is basically the same thing but updated to a better standard.

-System Specs-
I would go into the specs of the systems but that’s a lot to do and nobody can debate on this because we haven’t seen the PS3's performance and nobody knows the either of the systems full capabilities are.

X Box 360 is a great system and most likely will be the beast system.

Do i even need to take this further? The xbox360's controllers is a ripoff from current PS2 controllers. Talk about specs? man.. are you so mis-informed? PS3 and Xbox360 has the same type of graphic power and CPU speeds. Sure you can say xbox360 has better specs but wait till you see the games coming out for PS3.

The funny thing was my friend that works at target called me when I got off of work on Thursday saying he was heading in and that earlier that morning they got 15 premiums. I was like shit they are probably all gone lol.

He calls me about an hour later saying if I wanted one to come get one, he picked up his and they had 4 left. I was like man no one is going to want to buy one now for good money off of ebay and I passed on the offer. I feel sorry for the noobs on Ebay that got "pwned" money wise

Even if I had to get one of those for Christmas (My kids are older now and I don't have to get the Hottest Item anymore) and I could not find one of them...I would wrap up a box about the same size and have a note in it and maybe some games for it. The note would say...."Good for one Xbox 360 when Santa get's some more"...or something to that effect. Never would I buy a over priced one online at E-Bay...Screw that...I would never encourage that kind of behavior.

Xbox owns all systems right now pretty much cuz of Xbox Live, can't say nay against it, but PS has online as well, and I respect them for it. I just got Xbox Live and it owns hard, FTW!!!

I love Playstation because I used to own the original one, and I personaly like Xbox better than PS just cuz I own it. I'm sure if I owned PS I'd like it better than Xbox but that's the way it goes.

Nintendo must grow up and realize that it's time has come to make way for modern gaming. They can't even catch up with online standards, even Dreamcast had it

Basically I like both PS2 and Xbox/Xbox360 and PS3, but if a PS fan is gonna come out flaming the Xbox, then I get irretated and defend Xbox. But I like both, and if I could I'd own both.

Also tons of game reviewers (Gampspot, EGM, and 1UP) agree that most xbox360 launch games is decent but not the killer-app or must-buy type of games. All of the games on the 360 right now look next gen, the only downside is that some games were rushed to make launch day and seem to be short on features. The games will get much better in 2006 as developers have more time with the final production hardware and aren't on a time crunch to get the games released. I don't see how anyone could say that King Kong, PGR3, Madden 06, Kameo, Condemned, Call of Duty, NFS Most Wanted, and a few other titles could be done on today's consoles, its simply not possible, graphically.

Thing I don't understand is the kingkong and how a quite few people talk about it on the 360. Even though it's on the PS2, GameCube and even Xbox. =P

I don't know though.. I don't own one so I'm not going to act like I do.

only thing I want to say is 360 is overrated period. People treat the thing as if it's a need more than a want at times and that simply makes me shake my head. It's as if there won't be 360 anymore and it's impossible.. no, stop overeacting and breathe there will be more. =)

But then again it will happen with PS3 as well when we see it come out.

I already bought myself a system (a new pc) that burned me a new hole in my pocket so maybe it's just me but hey somepeople don't have the cash to buy a whole new computer to play games on and have to resort to getting a console (for all you debaters on PCs Vs Consoles.) I realized that not that many people have an awesome pc to play their games to the max or even want one. So consoles have their own deal, leave them alone.

I'm not impressed by 360 really, not yet. It JUST came out... so stop bashing something.. it's like saying a newborn is going to be a blue collar hick when it still has a while to go through.. =P

And for all who dissed the Xbox (the black box people) because it came from Mr. Gates soon a few people got themselves one..

Sure the Xbox didn't have too much to offer otherthan being able to get hacked and store every game they came out for it on it's HDD by renting a game from blockbuster XD but hey whatever the first games have every sport a racing game a horror and a fantasy action game and a multiplatformer game (KK) and they were rushed but I'm sure there will be better games in 2006-07 Same thing for PS3 and we will all start over in five years with the next-gen console with the next-gen computers and the same lame arguments..

BAND Xbox 1000 and PS4 and rule! Along with the new windows OS in 08 I heard about. =P

i'm guessing your one of those very few ppl who give a flying red engine about someones post count. if you ask me most ppl could careless what their post count is. only ppl who care about post counts are the ones complaining about them.
